ESLP Work Journal

First day of work: Took off doors of existing compost bins. Cleared weeds and dirt out of the way for the new compost bin.

Second day of work: Set up and picked pallets for our new compost bin, nailed them together for temporary until we had a power drill.

Day three of work: recleared dirt repositioned and aligned pallets. Drilled the pallets together.

Day four of work: Cleared weeds in the garden, and put them inside of the compost bins.

The completion of the ESLP

We completed our ESLP after we finished building the compost bin, but we went above and beyond the required tasks. We decided to also remove weeds for Mr.Bursch's garden. Over all we thought that the project was fun and it was also informative and eye opening. We learned some valuable skills about wood working and gardening, we are glad that we signed up for it

The budget for our ESLP

The budget for our eslp was 0 dollars, but we brought our own screws and power drill to complete the compost bin. The list of used tools and materials for our ESLP include:

Power drill
Hammer
pick axe
shovel
trowel
nails
screws
hinges
Pallets
wood planks

start

for the start of our project we had to take off all the doors then what we did was move some dirt out of the area. The walls didn't quite fit on so we had to move the dirt. After that it took us a few days to get all the tools but when we did it turned out pretty good. We still have to do one more compost bin to help out another group. We will come in next week most likely.
